Katie Ovenden and Riya Tarar
represented Wiltshire County at the U12 Inter County Doubles Tournament on Saturday in Leicester.  
Many counties, mostly northern, were represented and had entered large squads. The girls were split into 3 pools of 7 but they were not seeded.  Unfortunately this meant that Katie and Riya had many of the countries top juniors in their pool.

Of course that made for some good battles and they narrowly lost their first match 20-21 having led 20-17.  Ultimately this match could of got them to the quarter finals but it was not to be.

5 - 21 Nottinghamshire (U11 National singles and doubles winner in pair)

21-13 Cheshire

21-17 Derbyshire

21-6 Leicestershire
