U14s vs Cornwall 07/01/2018
The U14’s played Cornwall at Tidworth on Sunday 7th January, unfortunately we were a girl down and they were two girls down however the ensuing competition offered some great badminton from both sides.
Wiltshire ran out winners with 21 matches won to 8 lost, several of our players were praised by Cornwall for their sportsmanship and skills which is much to their credit as fully rounded competitors.
It would be very difficult to single out any individual as this was a great team effort, previously untried partnerships flourished and players encouraged and supported each other very well.
Thanks to all the parents who supported the competition with the refreshment supply and their most welcome assistance ( and obviously the loan of their offspring who amply rewarded them ).
