U14s played Berkshire away on Sunday 1st March at Woodley Park. We always knew this was going to be our toughest outing of the season and our team put up a brilliant performance against last year’s Shires winners - a formidable opposition with physical strength, consistency, stamina and tactical precision. All matches were played in very good spirit and I can’t stress how proud we were of the team who kept positive, heads high and once again every team member stayed in fighting for every point. We had some tremendous, hard fought rallies and really intelligent play which weren’t always reflected in the score lines. Final score 17-3 to Berkshire.
