On Sunday 5th January 2020 the U18's travelled to Wellington for their
'home' match against Cornwall, the booked venue sadly had lighting
problems so we transferred just along the road to The Princess Royal
Sports Complex ( a very nice 5 court venue ), having resolved the venue
issue the match started.
Everything went very well with Wiltshire winning by 25 matches to 11,
the players worked very hard as a unit and were all a credit to Team
Wiltshire.
The Head coach, Steve Hulbert, was in attendance with Chris Eagles
running the team, John Jenkins offering helpful advice and Janet Jenkins
taking charge of the refreshments ( including some very nice home made
offerings ).
Support was provided by the superb parents who got the players to
Wellington and were rewarded with a grandstand view of the matches.
Wiltshire County Badminton Association Juniors thanks everyone involved
for their hard work and continued dedication to Team Wiltshire.
The team now has 2 wins from 3 South West County league matches with 2
away and 1 home match to come before the season ends.
