U12s vs Berkshire
Emma Lewis 13/11/2019
U12s had their first ever Shires County Match on Sunday 10th November against a very experienced (and previous U12s Shires champions) Berkshire.
Yashica Racharla won girls singles and Yashica and Yaschica proved a formidable pairing, winning both of their girls’ doubles matches resulting in a final score line of 17-3. For the remainder of the team this was their first real test and we were really impressed with the attitudes and determination on show. Lots of positives to take away – we had some fantastic hard fought rallies and without exception the team kept in and fighting for every point - heads didn’t drop even in the face of some tough score lines which was really great to see.
Many thanks to Jagadambi Racharla as Team Manager/Coach and Simon Woodhouse for your coaching support and encouragement.
