Sunday 18th November 2018, our first U18 International Shires League match against Gwent and quite an eventful session. Gwent were a girl down therefore conceding 4 matches which was a great shame however the final result was a solid ( and long overdue ) 14-6 win for Wiltshire !. Nirmala, Penny and Eleanor had convincing 2 game wins in their singles with Bea having two walkovers, Saahen and Matt Young both won their singles in two games. Christian and Eleanor, Leon and Bea both won their doubles in two games, Matt and Penny won in three. Saahen and Matt won both their doubles in 2 and 3 games, Penny and Eleanor won their doubles in two games. Well done all, the team made some friends today with the promise of friendlies later in the season. Thanks to all supporters and Sally for her excellent management and organisation and congratulations to the team on a stunning display of skill, sportsmanship and good humour.
